Energy transition

The energy transition is key for job creation and a sustainable economic recovery in the post-pandemic period. Sustainable investments to promote the energy transition must be accompanied by measures that helps to expand the fiscal space of governments, so as not to compromise their sustainability.

Natural gas

Natural gas is the fossil fuel that generates the least greenhouse gases. Composed almost largely of methane (CH4), it emits less carbon dioxide (CO2) and air pollutants than the fuels it has been replacing in recent years, especially coal. In this way, it is a fundamental tool to promote the energy transition.
