The Peruvian Hydrocarbons Society (SPH) is the union that brings together companies from the oil and gas industry dedicated to exploration, exploitation, transportation and commercialization activities. It arises from the will of a group of private companies to create an institution specialized in hydrocarbons that:
Work hand in hand with the Ministry of Energy and Mines and other authorities in the sector to make the development of the oil industry viable.
Exercise the union's spokesperson before civil society, the press and the authorities.
Promote the development of the sector through the sustainable use of natural resources.
Propose institutional reforms in the sector in order to position the business and the need to continue its growth.
Promote the development of communities and indigenous peoples through social responsibility projects that involve sustainable and autonomous economic development for their life.
Generate research and studies on the hydrocarbon industry, valuing the contribution of companies in different sectors.
